FIVE RHYMING RIDDLES
1)
Dreaming of apples on a wall,
And dreaming often, dear,
I dreamed that, if I counted all,
How many would appear?
2)
My voice is tender,
My waist is slender;
I'm often invited to play.
Yet wherever I go
I must take my bow,
Or else I have nothing to say.
3)
First you see me in the grass,
Dressed in yellow gray;
Next I'm found in dainty white,
Then I fly away.
4)
My first is in wood, but not in tree,
My second in four and also three.
My third is in music and also tune,
My fourth in May, but not in June.
My whole makes a beat
You can hear down the street.
5)
Four brothers are we,
Two sets of twins;
Never catching each other,
No matter how we spin.
