A letter bank is a puzzle in which the letters of a shorter starting word (the "bank"--- given in capital letters) are to be repeated, as often as necessary, and then re-arranged to form a longer answer word (defined at the right). For example, the starting word REAP with the clue "Ready (7) " would lead to the answer PREPARE, repeating the R, E, and P in REAP and re-arranging the letters. The number of letters in each answer is given in parentheses.
