THREE RHYMING RIDDLES

1)
A word of six letters - a noxious drink,
Of whose effects you shudder to think.
Change my second letter - and then,
You convert me to a dreadful den.
And it's here where the one
Who gave you that drink,
Awaits a fate of which he shudders to think.

2)
My step is slow, the snow's my breath,
I give the ground a grinding death;
My own marching makes an end to me,
Slain by sun or drowned by sea.

3)
I'm food upon your plate,
When you eat in morning light;
I'm a drink inside your glass,
After dinner-time at night.

Answers:

1. POISON/PRISON
2. A glacier
3. Toast
