THREE RHYMING RIDDLES

1)
Three brothers who work all day and all night,
Ruling our lives in darkness and light;
They work without pay, asking nothing of us,
Serving alike the cruel and the just.

2)
A head I have, a tail as well,
But no mind or brain as I can tell;
And yet men often assign me the mission,
To randomly make the hardest decisions.

3)
My first is thick, dark, and sticky,
My second means to acquire;
My whole has nothing to do with either of these,
But when you hit it, you are pleased.

Answers:

1. The hour, minute, and second hands of a clock.
2. A coin
3. Target
