THREE RHYMING RIDDLES
1)
Twice ten are six of us, One and two are but three;
Five and nine are four of us,
Tell me, what can we be?
2)
My first is in spring, but not in summer,
My second in drain and also plumber;
My third and fourth are just the same,
Though not in play, they are in game.
My fifth in nature you will see,
My whole is a trendy way to be.
3)
I run smoother than any rhyme,
I love to fall, but cannot climb;
I tremble at each breath of air,
Yet the heaviest burdens can I bear.
When I'm calm, I'm like a mirror,
But when I'm not, I invoke fear.
