In the puzzle below, each word on the left mails two letters to its pen pal on the right, creating two new words. Start by removing two letters from the word on the left, leaving a familiar word. Then add these two letters, in the same order, to the word on the right, creating another familiar word. The letters you deliver do not need to be consecutive in either word, may come from anywhere in the word on the left, and may be placed anywhere in the word on the right.
