EAT YOUR WORDS VII

Each word in the left-hand column can "eat" one of the words in the right-hand column to produce a new word - without any re-arrangement of letters. For example, the word CUD can swallow the word STAR to form CUSTARD. The words in the right-hand column are not in order. Can you match the eaters with the "eatees" and determine the new words?

CUD                         ROTE
MOUND                  NIGH
ROUGED                 SURE
TOT                          RIB
TREAD                    HOE
PIN                           HEN
SHORN                    STAR

Answers:

CUD - STAR - -  CUSTARD
MOUND - RIB - - MORIBOUND
ROUGHED - HEN - - ROUGHENED
TOT - NIGH - - TONIGHT
TREAD - SURE - - TREASURED
PIN - ROTE - - PROTEIN
SHORN - HOE - - SHOEHORN
