CAPITAL IDEA

If you write out the names of all 50 U.S. state capitals, each followed by the name of its state, you can find some words that use at least one letter at the end of the capital's name and at least one letter from the beginning of the state's name. For example, given the clue word  AWASH, the capital and state would be OlympiA, WASHington.
