Each line of words below contains six pieces from two or three longer words that begin with the same letter. The first letter of these longer word has been dropped, and the remaining letters have been broken up into shorter words. These shorter words are listed in alphabetical order. By adding the right starter letter and regrouping the pieces, you should be able to reconstruct the original two or three words.
For example, given the set of words
___ FLAG HIM ON PAN RATION ZEE,
you would add the starter letter C to HIM to make
CHIM-PAN-ZEE,
and to ON to make - CON-FLAG-RATION.
Given the set of words
___ CUTE OR POISE ROSE ROTE STATION,
you would add the starter letter P to OR, ROSE, and ROTE to make
POR-POISE, PROSE-CUTE, PROTE-STATION.
The letters you add in each set, read downward, will spell a word with no repeated letters. That word, which is given as a hint, will tell you the starter letter for each line.
