MELODRAMA
From The Enigma
NPL Magazine - Feb. 2012
RAW
The villain sneers (as villains do)
When saying that the rent is due.
If payments now the folks can't meet,
Then they'll be living on the street.
Since he has megabucks galore,
They begin to beg, impeach, implore.
Mom is sobbing, daughter bawls,
The cat meows, the baby squawls.
Dad his chest begins to beat,
"Cheep, cheep," sing the parakeet.
