THREE RHYMING RIDDLES

1)
What has an eye that never tastes of sleep
Or sheds a tear,
That never all its life wore a stitch of clothes,
Yet clothes mankind all year?

2)
I often murmur, but never weep;
I'm always in bed, but never sleep.
My mouth is wide, larger than my head,
Disgorging much, though I'm never fed.
I swiftly run without legs or feet,
And if I fall, I'm ever more fleet.

3)
Why did the female fly and the toad cross the road?
The prey to get away, the predator to get at her.

Answer:
