AROUND THE WORLD II

The answer to each clue will be a word that also hides the name of a country. The letters in the country's name may or may not be consecutive. For example, given the clue SELLER OF VEGETABLES, the answer would be GREENGROCER, which hides GREECE (GREEngroCEr).

NOTE from JA: Solving the puzzle this way is a difficult adaptation of Mr. Dedeja's original puzzle. I posted the original puzzle on January 12, 2010 as AROUND THE WORLD I.

The HINTS below the clues give the clue answers, from which you must extract the names of the hidden countries - another variation of the original puzzle - in which Mr. Dudeja gives the names of the countries and asks the solver to find the words. Using the hints significantly reduces the difficulty of the puzzle.
