The answers to the clues below are very unusual in that the same letters appear in each half of the answers. For example, given the clue

YELLED AT ELATEDLY - which can be divided after AT into exactly the same eight letters in each half

Note from JA: The letters appear in each half of each answer in random order, but they are exactly the same, letter for letter - which is quite amazing considering the length of the answers.
