Each of the following words can be formed from the letters of only one U.S. state name. Which states are they? Some of the letters of the state's name may not appear in the clue, but all the letters in the clue will appear in the state's name. A repeated letter in the clue must be repeated in the state name. Consider "North," "South," "West," and "New" to be part of the state name. As a solving aid, the first answer is given.
