JOKES

A man was walking in Macon, Georgia when he saw a vicious dog that was about to attack a little boy. He was able to throttle the dog, probably saving the boy's life. A newspaper reporter happened to witness the entire incident and came up to the man afterward.
"I'd like to take your picture and put this in the newspaper. The headline will read, 'Macon man saves child's life'."
"But I'm not from Macon," said the man.
"OK," the reporter said, "the headline will read, 'Georgia man saves child's life'."
"But I'm not from Georgia," the man said, "I'm from Connecticut."
"Oh," the reporter said, "in that case the headline will read, 'Yankee kills family pet'."
