SIX RHYMING RIDDLES
From What Am I? Vol. 2
Zack Guido
1)
They fill me up and you empty me,
Almost every day;
But if you raise my arm aright,
It works quite the other way.
2)
I'm made of eight letters,
And hold a ninth inside;
Pay a very small fee,
And send me for a ride.
3)
You buy me taken apart,
To redo what has been undone;
Four of my pieces have one sharp corner,
The rest of them have none.
4)
Everyone has me,
Everyone needs me;
When some people see me,
They end up quite queasy.
5)
I'm scared of water,
But not of heights;
I come in different colors,
But I'm mostly white.
6)
I fly without feathers,
Sleep when you're awake;
Neither mosquito nor needle,
But blood I'm known to take
