SIX RHYMING RIDDLES
1)
I cover your body, but I'm not clothes;
The more I'm used, the thinner I grow.
2)
I have six pockets, but I'm not pants;
I have four legs, but I can't dance.
3)
I'm like a clock, in a certain way -
I tell the time - but only once a day.
You don't have to see me, only listen -
Batteries and bells - they're all missin'.
4)
A rock group with four members,
Each one long deceased;
But people still throng to see them,
Though no album ever was released.
5)
I can outrun a horse.
I can roar like a lion.
But unlike my brothers,
I can't do no flyin'.
6)
Five friends we are, all holding hands.
We're known and loved in every land.
From the realm of Zeus we hail,
To triumph here - the Holy Grail.
The human spirit we denote,
But where we fly is up to vote.
