INFERRED ANAGRAMS IX

One interesting aspect of an anagram pair is how the two words relate to each other in context. By inference, can you extract two context-related anagrams from the following sentence-clues below? For example, given the sentence 
 
As one grows older, hopefully he becomes wise. 
 
The two related anagrams would be AGES (grows older) and SAGE (wise).

1. He was untruthful when he told me there was a kosher-style restaurant nearby.

2. Chinese and Japanese art has little connection to Scandinavian art.

3. Alligator wrestlers share a unique jargon.

4. He asked if I could write using ciphers. "Not going to happen," I had to answer him.

5. Her attitude was one of impending disaster.

6. I was suspicious of this project, and, sure enough, things went all wrong.

7. It seem so sad that he is passing away in such a drab and gloomy place.

8. Your error in judging is nothing compared to mine.
