POINTS TO PONDER CXIII

Holding a pomegranate in the palm of the hand, one can sense its antiquity. Like the olive and the fig, the pomegranate is rooted in the mists of early civilization and has been cultivated as a food and celebrated in myth and poetry for thousands of years.
