Starting at the bottom of the list below, choose one letter from the group and push it up into the next group, leaving a word at the bottom of the list. Place the pushed-up letter somewhere in the new group to make a word - without re-arranging the letters. To do this, you will in turn have to choose a letter in the new group and push it up to the next group. 

 

For example, in the puzzle below, dropping the P from SPIGNS and pushing it up into the next group, leaves SIGNS at the bottom. The P you pushed up must be used to form a word with STADMS - without re-arranging the letters. That word would be STAMPS. To do this you had to push the D up into the next group - and so on. The words formed will have something in common.
