THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN II

What's the difference between:

1. Clover and plover (Credit: Robert Williams Wood)
2. A pecan and a toucan (Credit: Robert Williams Wood)
3. Geography and biography
4. A cat and a comma
5. Mass and weight
6. A religious person and a dragon
7. A mirror and a gossip
8. A bird with one wing and a bird with two wings

Answers:

1)The clover and the plover can be told apart with ease,
By paying close attention to the habits of the bees.
For entomologists aver, the bee can be in clover,
While etymologists concur, there is no b in plover.

2)

To take the toucan from the tree
Requires immense agility.
While anyone can pick with ease
the pecans from the pecan trees.
It's such an easy thing to do,
That even the toucan he can too.

3)

Geography is about maps,
Biography is about chaps.

4)
A cat has claws at the end of its paws;
A comma has a pause at the end of its clause.

5. Mass is where Catholics go on Sundays, and weight is where sundaes go on Catholics.

6. A religious person prays on weeknights; a dragon preys on weak knights.

7. One reflects without speaking, and the other speaks without reflecting.
