DOUBLE TALK I
GAMES/World of Puzzles
August, 2017
Karen Thurber
Like cryptic crosswords, each clue below defines the same answer twice. Deciding how to divide the clue into the two parts is the key to solving. In some cases there is a word or two "connecting" the two definitions (such as "about" in the example below). These words have been added to make the phrases read more fluidly and should not be considered part of either definition.
Example: Delivering a tirade about a safety feature
Answer: Railing, defined as "delivering a tirade" and again as "a safety feature."
