ANAGRAM SCRAMBLE I

Drop one letter from each of the three words in each clue below and re-arrange the remaining letters to create three new words that belong to the same category. For example, given the clue words RUBLE/DEAR/GNAT,  you would drop the R from RUBLE, the A from DEAR, and the G from GNAT.
