FIVE RHYMING RIDDLES

1)
There's a language known throughout the earth,
We all have used it since our birth;
Everyone uses it, we all agree,
Yet in ourselves it's hard to see.
Its message clear -- the silence broken,
Though it has no words and can't be spoken.

2)
Though I'm small in size and not alive,
I can slip from your clutching grip;
Still you always end up winning,
While I shrink each time we meet.
In the end I disappear,
Indeed my fate is mean;
But lucky you -- you need not fear,
You always come out clean.

3)
I travel in waves and am heard at the shore,
But also in every other place you've been before.

4)
What is it that's in buildings, bridges, and people too,
If we don't have enough of it, the doctor tells us what to do?

5)
It's said we all have one,
Believers have no doubt;
Everyone's included,
No one's left out.
Spelled quite differently,
It means only one;
Or it's something we all need
To stand, walk, and run.
Spelled differently again,
Now don't be confused,
I'll show you some pity,
When spoken aloud,
It names a capital city.
