FIVE RHYMING RIDDLES

1)
I can be found on paper, and also on a bar,
Even next to money - though it won't get you far;
I have something in common with wheat and with rice,
But you wouldn't want to eat me - I don't taste very nice.
I can be kept in a box, as well as keep time,
I'm used for building, and my cousin is lime.
I'm often played on, when no field can be found,
Surrounded by me, you'll hear the ocean's sound.
I help children to sleep, I'm eaten by some,
I hold up the levees when the floodwaters come.

2)
My head is in heaven, but not in clouds;
My second the middle of day.
My third in the midst of eternity found,
My last the start of pray.

3)
When you need a view, look at me;
Though I am not what you will see.
Go ahead, stand and stare,
Or open me and get some air.

4)
I have many feathers to help me fly,
A body, head, and tail - - but I'm not alive;
Your skill determines where I go,
You can hold me in your hand,
But I'm useless to throw.

5)
Called by three letters,
Though I have a long name;
I'm in every person,
But I'm never the same.
