FOUR OLD RIDDLES

1)
Out in the field there is a green house;
Inside the green house is a white house.
Inside the white house is a red house;
Inside the red house are many black and white babies.

2)
He that made it did not use it,
He that bought it did not want it;
He that used it did not know it.

3)
Doctor, please, do cure my first,
For which I'll give you my second;
My whole you can enjoy both morning and evening.

4)
I saw the happy pair pass by,
Newly wed midst joy and acclamation;
One simple word, thought I,
Exactly summed the situation.
But years have passed and love has waned,
And now they go their separate ways;
Again one simple word fits the case.
The second word is like the first,
Two central letters just reversed.

What are the two words?

HINT:
3. The "second" is FEE.

Answers:

1. Watermelon
2. A coffin
3. Coffee (cough - fee)
4. United/Untied
