FOUR RHYMING RIDDLES

1)
I'm neat and tidy as can be,
I have no head and cannot see;
A hundred legs, but cannot stand,
My long, long neck fits in your hands.

2)
To unravel me you need a key,
If you want my message to see;
Not one made by the blacksmith's hand,
But a key that only I understand.

3)
A long, thick snake that makes me boil,
Though it has no skin, nor scales, nor coil;
The thicker it is, the worse for all,
If it moves at all, it's at a crawl.

It has many voices, a sort of rhythm of its own,
But it's harsh and strident, enough to make you moan;
We hate it, we curse it, but it's of our own making,
The alternative being our convenience forsaking.

4)
Reds and oranges, purples too,
Set against the deepest blue;
Bid farewell to its golden rays,
Nature's splendor at the close of day.

Answers:
1. A broom
2. A code or cipher
3. Traffic
4. Sunset
