In the word CLOSE, as in "close together," the S can be pronounced with the Z sound to make the sound heard in "close the door." There are (at least) four words where the S can make both the S and the Z sounds, to allow the words to be used as both nouns and verbs. Can you name the four words?

HINT:
All the words end in USE.

Answers:

USE
ABUSE
HOUSE
EXCUSE
