THREE RHYMING RIDDLES
1)
Three words there are of equal measure,
A city will name when combined together.
The first to Adam can be traced,
The second is used to name a space;
The third men seek and hope to find,
As they toil with earth in shaft and mine.
2)
I have many names, including modern and fine,
Some find me boring, others divine;
Though a look at me might raise a brow,
I'm also a word that once followed Thou.
From a fortune to little my value can span,
But that's not important - for I am what I am;
Special places are built for people to view me,
But really I'm anywhere you choose to see me.
3)
I'm a word of three syllables, and such they be,
That my third in my first is most awful at sea;
In between is my second, you see it here thrice,
My whole, in order, sings a song of delight.
