MORE SHROUDED SYNONYMS

Each sentence below conceals a pair of synonyms,but it will take some effort to find them. The letter sequences of the hidden words remain intact, but they are "shrouded" by spacing, punctuation, and capitalization. Some of the hidden synonyms can be found entirely within a word in the sentence, while others bridge the gap(s) between two or more words.

Example: Can cell phones ever evoke a sense of nostalgia for simpler times?
Answers:  cancel and revoke - as in
CAN CELl phones eveR EVOKE a sense of nostalgia for simpler times?
