I have no wings, yet I fly;
I have no eyes, yet I cry.

I'm not alive, but I have two skins;
One without and one within.
When I'm empty, I have nothing to say,
But when I'm filled, I can point the way.

Slowly gained, but quickly lost,
A jewel of character beyond all cost.

My tines are long,
