PLANTED ANTONYMS

[In this very clever puzzle, each clue requires two answers. The first answer is the expected one, while the second answer is another word that contains an antonym of a word hidden in the first answer.

Example:
Given the clue LIKE THE HEAVENLY GATES, the first answer would be PEARLY, and the second answer would be PLATE (PEARLY - PLATE)
