In this puzzle, each word on the left mails two letters to its pen pal on the right, creating two new words. The two letters can be taken from anywhere in the word on the left and placed anywhere in the word on the right, but they stay in the same order. You may have two or more options with the word on the left, but only one set of letters will fit into the word on the right. Other than the transferred letters, the order of the letters in both words remains unchanged.
For example, given the clue
DOCUMENT.........................SPREE,
the answer would be
DOCENT...............................SUPREME
1. CHERUB..........................RISE
2. INFERNO.........................ARCTIC
3. SLAUGHTER..................JUICE

5. TRIANGLE......................TUNE
