STATE SECRETS I

Each word in the list below contains all the letters necessary to spell the name of a U.S. state (or, in one case, the names of two U.S. states). For example, from the letters RHINO, you could spell OHIO. A letter may be used any number of times to spell a state, and all the letters in a word may not need to be used. How many "secret" states can you find?
