From The Enigma
NPL Magazine - Aug. 2013
EARL E. BYRD (adapted)

What's among life's greatest treats?
Going out to have some eats!
Preparations? Nada! None!
Zero clean-up when you're done.
Worldly cares become benign,
For the while, your life's divine!
But a warning from the wise:
Don't rule out a bad surprise.
Dire effects from tainted food
Could obliterate your mood.

[The first six lines of this poem suggest a situation where a common expression is used to say how you feel. However, by dropping the final letter of the last word in this expression, and placing it in the middle of the first word of the expression, you get a very different expression - one  describing what you might do according to the last four lines of the poem.]
