The three words ANCHOR, CONSULT,  and WEARING all have a very unusual connection to the word TAG. Can you determine what it is?

HINTS:
#1: It involves the letter N.
#2: It involves anagrams.

Answer:

Dropping the N from ANCHOR, CONSULT, and WEARING and anagramming the resulting letters gives ROACH, LOCUST, and EARWIG - three insects. Adding that N to TAG  and anagramming the result gives GNAT - a fourth  insect.
