POINTS TO PONDER XXXIV
A man in a position of great power and responsibility had to appoint someone to act in his place for a time. There were many candidates with high qualifications. He asked each candidate in an interview to explain why he or she thought they should get the job. Then he asked each candidate one other question - the same one for each candidate. It was largely based on the candidates' answers to this question that the man made his decision. What was the queston?
"If you don't get the job, who would you recommend as second best?"
