FIVE RHYMING RIDDLES
From What Am I? Vol. 1
Zack Guido

1)
One way I'm loose,
One way I'm tight;
Out to the left,
In to the right.
What am I?

2)
My full power comes when my makers are dead;
I await a heavy hat to be put on my head.
What am I?

3)
Three holes to hold me,
Some strength to throw me;
To do well at my job, you need to control me.
You throw me away, I always come back;
I come in many colors, but traditionally I'm black.
What am I?

4)
I grow in the dark and shine in the light;
The paler I am, the more I am liked.
Though he never gets paid,
My maker never goes on strike.
What am I?

5)
Thursday before Tuesday,
Three before two;
Today before yesterday,
Me before you.
What am I?
