1)
I'm put on a horse, but not on its back;
I don't last long - just a lap of the track.

2)
Nobody wants to eat me,
But all someday must bite;
It's not that I'm that tempting,
I'm just a fate they can't fight.

3)
I'm something quite common,
you see me all around;
I live in the air, on water and ground.
But there's also something
Not so common about me -
As I grow up, I grow down.

4)
I'm always on my way,
Steadily getting closer;
But just when I'm about to arrive,
I have to start over.
