   The jetliner had just taken off and all the passengers had settled down. In the first class section, a man sat next to a well-dressed woman who was wearing a stunning diamond pendant.
   "Excuse me, but I couldn't help noticing that beautiful necklace," he said. "It's the most exquisite stone I've ever seen."
   "Why, thank you," she said. "It's the Klopman diamond, you know."
   The man looked puzzled. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I have ever heard of it."
   "Well, it's a lot like the Hope diamond," the woman explained. "It's not as large, of course, but the clarity and beauty of the Klopman diamond are the absolute equal. And just like the Hope diamond, it comes with a curse for the person wearing it."
   "That's positively amazing!" the man said. "What's the curse?"
   "Mr. Klopman."
