HOMOGRAPH OPPOSITES

The answers to the clues below lead to two different words which appear to be opposites, but, in context, do not contradict each other. This is because the the first word is a homograph and one of its meanings is used for the effect. For example, if you're carrying a 20-pound lamp, you might say, The light is heavy.
