THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN XXXVI
What's the difference between:
1. An English teacher and a casino?
2. Music from a carillon and young girls squeezing wet clothes?
3. An old ten-dollar bill and a new one?
4. After Notre Dame won an invitation to the Sugar Bowl a few years ago, Irish coach Lou Holtz went to a restaurant and was recognized by his waiter. "What's the difference," the waiter asked, " between Notre Dame and a bowl of Cheerios?" Holtz said he didn't know, so the waiter said, "Cheerios belong in a bowl."
Not to be outdone, the coach asked the waiter, "What's the difference between a golf pro and me?"
"I don't know," said the waiter.
Holtz replied, "________________ ."
Answers:

2. The bells are ringing and the belles are wringing.
3. Nine dollars (new one dollar bill)
4. "A golf pro gives tips."
