Here's a test of your powers of observation:

1. Is the restaurant know by its golden arches spelled McDonalds or McDonald's?
2. Is it Dr Pepper or Dr. Pepper
3. Is there a hyphen between the "7" and the "Up" on a bottle of - well, you know?

Answers:

1. McDonald's - with an apostrophe (which is correct)
2. There is no period in Dr Pepper.
3. There is a solid red circle between the "7" and "Up" - no hyphen.
