LAST WORDS XIV

Once, at a dinner party, George Bernard Shaw suffered through a lengthy discourse by a man who was trying to impress him. "You know," Shaw said at last, "between the two of us, I really believe we know all there is to know."
   "Really!" exclaimed the pedantic conversationalist.
"You seem to know everything except that you're a bore," Shaw replied. "And I know that."
*******************************************

He's come to his wit's end.
And it didn't take him long to get there.
