PERSONAL GLIMPSES XI

From Reader's Digest

General Mark W. Clark, after 36 years of Army life and ten years as a college president, was asked why he enjoyed the company of an uneducated, drawling fishing guide and was so often seen with him.
"After 40 years of being called General, Sir, and President, he's the only man I know who calls me 'boy.' He'll say, 'Get your line in the water, boy,' or 'Cast over there, boy.' I just like him calling me 'boy.' "
