LEXMAN
The answer words to this flat (A, B, C, and D) are anagrams of four words that make up a well-known group.
My hunger gnawed. I found my mom's
directions:
A recipe of veg and meat selections
To make a hearty D. Prepared just
right,
The meal would C the largest appetite.
I mixed it up and ate it piping hot,
When suddenly I gave a B - I got
A piece of gristle caught beneath my
gum.
It pierced me like an A and, overcome,
I spit the mouthful on the floor.
I won't be making D now any more.
HINT:
"I found my mom's directions."
Answers:
A - thorn
B - shout
C - sate
