POINTS TO PONDER LXVIII
From Reader's Digest
February, 1945
Somebody asked Bob Hope what went through his mind when he got his original view of Dorothy Lamour in a sarong. "I never gave it a second thought," he averred. "I was too busy with the first one."

JUST WHAT THEY NEEDED
When a girl applies for admission to Vasaar, a questionaire is sent to her parents. A father in a Boston suburb, filling out one of these blanks, came to the question, "Is she a leader?" He hesitated, then wrote, "I am not sure about this, but I know she is an excellent follower."
A few days later he received this letter from the president of the college:
"In our freshman group next Fall of 300 students, we have 299 leaders. We welcome your daughter as a member of this class, thus assuring us of one good follower."
