INFERRED ANAGRAMS I

One interesting aspect of an anagram pair is how the two words relate to each other in context. By inference, can you extract two context-related anagrams from the clues below? For example, consider the clue,

As one grows older, hopefully he becomes wise.

The two related anagrams would be AGES (grows older) and SAGE (wise). 

1. The President has the right to reject the decision of Congress.

2. You may have confidence in something that turns out to be a scam.

3. She regretted her disrespectful behavior.

4. Their home was made of dried clay bricks.

5. Don't bad-mouth the doctor who heals you.

6. It's good to build someone up, but don't worship them.

8. That Congressman doesn't want to be identified with those nut cases.
