6. In 1889, the Queen consort of Italy, Margherita of Savoy, ordered the first pizza delivery. The Margherita pizza of today is named in her honor.

7. Saying "Macbeth" backstage in a theater will bring immediate bad luck to the cast. If it must be said, it is referred to as "The Scottish play." It is also bad luck to say "Good luck," - hence the expression, "Break a leg."

8. At the Federal prison in Ossining, NY on the Hudson River (Sing Sing),  prisoners arrived by boat - source of the expression "Up the river" - meaning going to jail.

9. In Colonial America, lobster was called "the cockroach of the sea" and fed to indentured servants and prisoners.

10. On April 1, 1997 Pat Sajack hosted "Jeopardy" while Alex Trebek hosted "Wheel of Fortune" as an April Fool's Day gag. Three of the categories in the opening round of "Jeopardy" were "Buy a vowel," "Lose a turn," and "Say 'Jack'."
