ODDS AND ENDS

My husband works hard all week and is also good about helping with the children, so I don't begrudge him an occasional Saturday morning of golf, even though his partner is an attractive woman from his office. One morning she came to pick him up at the same time the plumber arrived. As my husband got into her car, one of our children was screaming, another dragging on my leg. The plumber looked confused as he asked, "Was that your husband who just left with the pretty burnette?" 

   When I told him it was, he just shook his head slowly and asked, "Where were you on my wedding day?"
